In order to avoid the deformation of the old rubber plate in the repair process, a magnetic clamping disc or a rigid fixed disc can be used to mount the rubber plate onto the lathe. And the surface shall be turned about 2-3 mm deep with a carbide cutter until the deepest wound disappears. Then use the grinding device or multi hole grinding wheel to grind the rubber coating 2-3 times.
The steel dowel bar must be about 2mm lower than the surface of the sealing plate
Workpiece speed: 200r/min
Rotating speed of grinding wheel: about 1600 r/min
Feed rate: 0.2-0.3 mm/time for grinding wheel or carbide tool
