Spray coating is an amorphous refractory material constructed by mechanical spraying using pneumatic tools. Since the cement and aggregate and other constituent materials are repeatedly impacted during the spraying process, the sprayed material is compacted, so the spray coating has good density and mechanical strength.
Since the cement and aggregate and other constituent materials are repeatedly impacted during the spraying process, the sprayed material is compacted, so the spray coating has good density and mechanical strength. The product has the characteristics of good quick melting, instant hardening, high adhesion rate, low resilience, and easy spraying. It is mainly used for the spraying of various basic steelmaking furnaces, magnesium carbon, and magnesium furnace linings.
According to the state of the spraying material and the spraying method, it can be divided into three types:
(1) Wet spraying, which can generally only perform thin layer repairs.
(2) Dry spraying (also known as semi-dry spraying), which can perform thicker layer spraying and is the most widely used.
(3) Flame spraying, which can obtain a dense spraying layer with high bonding strength and strong erosion resistance.
